The inauguration of the Golden Jubilee celebrations of Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir Elamakkara 'Suvarnashobha' was held on 27 June 2022 on the school premises. Shri Jagadish Lakhani, Joint Executive Secretary and Registrar, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Mumbai officially opened the year long celebrations. C A Venugopal C Govind, Chairman, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Kochi Kendra presided over the function. Sri E Ramankutty, Director, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Kochi Kendra presented a brief history of the School ' A walk down memory lane '. After the inaugural address by the chief guest, the logo of the Golden Jubilee year was released. Hon. Justice Devan Ramachandran, Judge, High Court of Kerala and Adv. Shri M Anilkumar, Mayor, Kochi Muncipal Corporation, alumni of the school delivered the keynote address and message of goodwill respectively. Smt. Jaya Jacob, Former Principal and coordinator, BRDC, Kochi Kendra, Rtd.Justice K S Radhakrishnan, former Chairman, BVB, Kochi Kendra, Smt. Sandhya Sasi, parent representative and Kum.Kavya R, student representative offered felicitations. Principal Smt Sunitha S delivered the address of welcome and Vice Principal Smt. Sreejyothi N proposed vote of thanks.The marvellously rendered welcome song and the scintillating dance performance by the students added solendour to the programme.
