Resource room is meant for children with learning disabilities in areas of reading, writing, comprehension and arithmetic. This facility was started in 1996 and now we have 75 students identified with learning difficulties. The students are given basic skills and grade level support(in-class support). In higher class re-teaching by simplifiedcontent is given. After 8th standard children are given provision for subject exemption and extra time for exams.

Inclusive education eliminates the segregation of children with difficulties and they are included in the regular classrooms. As part of implementing inclusive education we are providing in class support during language and subject periods. This enhances self-esteem of the students and they are able to learn at their pace. Remediation bears more fruits with inclusion. This is teamwork involving class teacher, subject teachers and special educator.
