Creation of environmental awareness among all sections of our society, particularly school students, is of paramount importance. As today's children are the citizens of tomorrow, there is a great need to inculcate in them values of respect, love and concern for nature. To encourage the same, a list of Green Rules is mentioned below which needs to be followed with care and concern. ·
- Avoid littering the campus.
- Use dustbins. ·
- Minimize the use of polythene bags.
- Use eco-friendly products like paper bags, cloth bags or jute bags. ·
- Plants make the environment beautiful. Do not pluck leaves or lowers.
- Keep the environment clean and green. ·
- Save energy. Switch off electric equipment and close taps when not in use. ·
- Use paper wisely and judiciously. ·
- Imbibe healthy habits and a lifestyle of minimum waste generation, reduce pollution and conserve the environment. · School property must be maintained properly.
