BHAVAN’S VIDYA MANDIR, ELAMAKKARA CELEBRATES THE FESTIVAL OF FORESTS - VANAMAHOTSAV  ONLINE

To sensitize students about the importance of conservation of forests and to remember our founder Dr K.M. Munshi, who started this Green movement way back in 1950, Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Elamakkara celebrated the Festival of Forests - Van Mahotsav virtually on 1 July 2021.

 Students of classes I & II were shown a video that included a story narrated by Annie Fennol of class VII A and snapshots of the little starlets of the school hugging trees.

 Aimed at instilling the value of social responsibility towards safeguarding trees and forests, another video on Jadav Molai Payeng, an environmental activist and forestry worker from Majuli popularly known as the Forest Man of India was shown to the students of classes III – XII.
