A LESSON FOR ALL AGES

The devasting atomic bomb attacks on Hiroshima and Nagasaki remembered as one of the deadliest nuclear attacks in history. Every year Hiroshima Day is observed on August 6 to promote political peace against the war. The students of Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Elamakkara observed Hiroshima Day. A video presentation was shown to the students to create an awareness for a nuclear-free world reminding them on the need to spread the message of peace, security and freedom. Dr. Asha A S, Assistant Professor of Physics in Cochin University of Science and Technology spoke on nuclear reactions and how we can make use of it in a productive way so as it turns out to be a boon to mankind rather than using it as a destructive source.
