SALUTING OUR BRAVE HEROES

Reminiscing our brave warriors who fought tirelessly and made the ultimate sacrifice for these 75 years of Independent India, Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Elamakkara celebrated Independence Day  virtually on 15 th August. Principal, Smt Sunitha S hoisted the national flag at school and a few teachers were also present on the occasion. Madam Principal delivered Independence Day message to the students and Ms. Divya Clarence, teacher of the Social Studies Department, gave a short speech on the importance of celebrating Independence Day.  NCC cadets sang their song ‘hum sub bharathiya hai’ and saluted the brave heroes who sacrificed their lives for the freedom that we enjoy today. A dance performance by the students of std XI added colour to the programme in reiterating the spirit and essence of nationalism. This glorious day reminds all Indians to look forward to a strong nation upholding the legacy by doing our work honestly and to own up to our responsibilities as a citizen.
