On November 8, Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Elamakkara observed Founder’s Day, Shri. K M Munshi, the great visionary who founded Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan on 7th November 1938 with the blessings of the father of our nation, Mahatma Gandhi. The  day marked to pay homage to Kanaiyalal  Maneklal Munshi, popularly known as K M Munshi,  was also an Indian Independence activist, writer, politician, and educationist. It’s an occasion to salute the spirit of the great leader that is ever inspiring the posterity. The Bhavan was established when freedom was around the corner and when people were concerned about the independent country that would emerge soon .Today, Bhavan has become one of the most popular educational trusts with 119 centers in India, 7 centers abroad and 367 constituent institutions that cover all aspects of life . An inspiring video on the glimpses of K M Munshi’s life was shown to the students.
