Bhavan's Vidya Mandir Elamakkara has been awarded with the prestigious prize of Shreshta Haritha Vidyalayam which was instituted in collaboration with Mathrubhumi seed and Federal Bank. The school has been chosen by considering the effort taken  in protecting and preserving the Nature. Many other initiatives were also undertaken by the school as part of this project and received many prizes and  accolades .
