CYCLE BRIGADE LAUNCHED
Adv. M. Anilkumar, Honourable Mayor, Kochi Corporation launched the Bicycle Brigade programme in the city at Bhavan's Vidya Mandir, Elamakkara on Friday.
The Kochi Municipal Corporation in association with Cochin Smart Mission Limited and GIZ under the initiative 'Cycle with Kochi' have launched the Bicycle Brigade programme with the objective of nurturing an eco-friendly and healthy generation for children.
C A Venugopal C Govind, Chairman, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Kochi Kendra presided over the function. Sri. E Ramankutty, Director, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Kochi Kendra delivered the message of laudation. Concept Presentation on Bicycle Brigade was done by Sri. Prakash Gopinath, Bicycle Mayor of Trivandrum, BYCS. Smt Raji, GM, CSML launched 'Gift a Bicycle Campaign' and Sri E Ramankutty handed over the bicycle to a student.
