As part of the Library week Celebrations and to promote the habit of reading,the Interact Club of Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Elamakkara has initiated a host of activities that include poetry sessions, literature quiz, debates and role play.

 

The celebration kick started with an amusing show of roleplay of the characters from the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan publication, Dimdima magazine. After the event, the students of Std.IV were introduced to the magazine in the school library. This week-long celebration commenced with the “Paint a Poem” competition for the students of Std.V.They displayed their creativity by working in pairs to interpret a poem and illustrate the same.This was followed by a competition for students of Std.IV to design book covers.The students demonstrated their artistic prowess and collaborative skills to create a Christmas motif, where they additionally came up with unique titles to go along with their designs.The celebrations will continue till the 19 December.
