Ramayana Week
Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Elamakkara, inaugurated Ramayana Week celebrations with a dignified and inspiring special assembly on Friday, 17 July 2026.
The programme began with the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Chief Guest, Sri Vinod Kizhakkeppat, Executive Vice President – Business Development at Amrita Technologies.
The assembly featured a reverent recitation of the Ramayana Parayanam by Master Thejus Menon of Class XII B, followed by an insightful Vyakhyanam by Kumari Malavika Rajesh of Class XI C, who eloquently reflected on the enduring values and timeless lessons of the epic. In his address, Sri Vinod Kizhakkeppat encouraged students to draw inspiration from the life of Lord Rama by embracing the virtues of righteousness, humility, and perseverance in their everyday lives.
The celebrations will continue throughout the week with an array of literary, cultural, and devotional activities, culminating on 23 July 2026 with a dance drama depicting Sree Rama Pattabhishekam, which will serve as the grand finale of the observance.
