Guru Purnima 2026
Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Elamakkara, celebrated Guru Purnima with devotion and respect on Wednesday at the school auditorium. The programme commenced at 8.30 a.m. and highlighted the valuable role of teachers in guiding and shaping the lives of students.
The chief guest, Dr. Prema A. K., Associate Professor (Retd.) and former Head of the Department of Zoology and Microbiology at The Cochin College, Kochi, addressed the gathering. She emphasised the important role of teachers in developing students’ knowledge, values and character. She also urged students to appreciate their teachers and continue learning throughout their lives.
