Independence Day 2026
15 August 2026 Independence Day was celebrated with great fervour and patriotic spirit at Bhavan's Vidya Mandir, Elamakkara, through a series of meaningful and engaging programmes.
The celebrations commenced with a march-past by the NCC cadets, Scouts, Guides, and Bulbuls. Following the parade, Principal Smt. Mini K hoisted the National Flag and addressed the gathering.
Smt. Dhanya Nair, Teacher, Department of English, delivered the Independence Day message, highlighting the significance of freedom and patriotism.
The formal proceedings were followed by a lively cultural programme featuring speeches by Kindergarten students, patriotic songs, and a dance portraying the spirit and struggle of India's freedom movement.
