Career Guidance Programme
The Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) of Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Elamakkara, organised a Career Guidance Programme for students of Classes XI and XII for the academic year 2026–27. The programme aimed to provide students with clarity and guidance regarding the diverse opportunities in higher education and help them make informed decisions about their future careers.
The sessions were led by a distinguished panel of professionals from various fields. The resource persons included Smt. Anuradha Subrahmanyan, Co-founder and Managing Director of Career Fit 360, a career analysis and customised training solutions firm founded by women entrepreneurs in Kochi; Shri Chandra Ravi, Deputy Director of Ernakulam Medical Centre; Shri Hariram M. V., Software Project Manager; Shri Mathew Cherian, Chartered Accountant; Shri C. S. Jinu Matthan, Company Secretary; Dr. Jagadeesh Kumar P., Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics Engineering at Model Engineering College, Thrikkakara; Adv. Ajith Govind Anjalekar, Senior Advocate; C.A. Begum Shajahan, Chartered Accountant; Dr. Rachith Krishnan, Consultant Orthodontist and Dentofacial Orthopaedic Specialist; Smt. Sandra K. P., Animation Film Designer; Dr. Ammu, Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Psychology at Chinmaya Vishwa Vidyapeeth; Dr. Lavannia, Ms. Chandini Ravi, Ms. Athulya Raj, a graduate in Journalism and Mass Communication; Shri Nidheesh M. K., a prominent media professional; and Dr. George P. John, Principal of Mar Baselios Dental College, Kothamangalam.
The programme featured informative sessions on a wide range of career pathways, including medicine, engineering, law, science and technology, commerce, and other emerging fields.
