Bhavan's Vidya Mandir, Elamakkara celebrated Guru Purnima on Monday,22July 2024 in a grand manner.The guest of the day Smt. Lalitha Prasad,Former Principal, Bhavan's Vidya Mandir Elamakkara addressed the children in the morning assembly. Speaking to children , she remarked that teachers are the guiding light who shape the future of their pupils with unwavering dedication and wisdom. She emphasised that the role of a teacher extends beyond mere instruction. They instil values,nurture curiosity and foster critical thinking. Master Rohan Anil Kumar,Senior School Head Boy and Kumari Malavika Abhishek Panicker Senior School Head Girl performed 'Padapooja' of the Chief Guest. Associate Senior School Head Boy Master Harisankar Madhu and the Cultural Captain Master Jathin Ragav offered Gurudakshina to Principal Smt Mini.K and Vice Principals, Smt. Bindu MR and Smt .Sumi U Menon.
The day also witnessed the grand culmination of Ramayana Week Celebrations with a captivating dance drama titled ' Sreerama Patabhishekam'. Students showcased their talent and dedication through their dance performance, bringing the story to life . The week- long festivities aimed at instilling cultural values and promoting the rich heritage of the great epic Ramayana.
