Inaguration of New Open Gym Facility
Bhavan's Vidya Mandir, Elamakkara, proudly unveiled its new Open Gym facility, a significant addition aimed at enhancing the physical well-being of both students and faculty. The initiative was made possible through the SEED Club, which channeled their prize money from winning the Kerala State Mathrubhumi SEED Vishishta Sreshta Haritha Vidyalayam Award 2022-2023, a distinguished honor awarded by Mathrubhumi and Federal Bank.
The inauguration ceremony was a momentous occasion, attended by several notable figures. Shri Tinu Yohannan, a former Indian cricket player and esteemed alumnus of Bhavan's Vidya Mandir, delivered the inaugural address and formally opened the gym. CA Venugopal C Govind, Chairman of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Kochi Kendra, presided over the event, delivering the presidential address, while Shri E Ramankutty, Director of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Kochi Kendra, provided the introductory remarks.
The event also featured felicitations from Smt Rajitha R Nair, President of the PTA at BVM Elamakkara, and Smt Shobha S, Coordinator of Bhavan's Bala Mandir, Kochi. The school’s leadership team, including Principal Smt Mini K, Vice Principals Smt Bindu MR and Smt Sumi U Menon, and Assistant Vice Principal Smt Devaki K, were present to celebrate the occasion.
