Bhavan's Vidya Mandir, Elamakkara celebrates National Sports Day
Bhavan's Vidya Mandir Elamakkara celebrated National Sports Day on Thursday, 29 August 2024, to commemorate the birthday of hockey legend Major Dhyan Chand.The chief guest, Shri Yoosaf K Ibrahim, Superintendent of Customs,Cochin International Airport, addressed the students in the morning assembly. He emphasized the significance of sports in character building. Further speaking, he stated that sports teach us valuable life skills like teamwork, discipline, and perseverance, which are essential for success in all walks of life.
