Annual Navaratri celebrations of Bhavan's Vidya Mandir, Elamakkara
The Annual Navarathri celebration of Bhavan's Vidya Mandir Elamakkara was held on Saturday, 5 th October 2024 at the Sardar Patel Sabha Griha, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Kochi. This vibrant event, a collaborative effort by the school's and Kala Bharathi, showcased the talents of the students on the third day of Navarathri celebrations.
The celebration began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolizing the institution's dedication to cultural events. C A Venugopal C. Govind, Chairman, Shri E. Ramankutty, Director, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Kochi Kendra, Smt. Usha K, Education Officer, Shikshan Bharati, graced the occasion with their presence.
The event commenced with an energetic Mridangam performance by the students of Bhavan's Kala Bharati. This was followed by a a classical music performance and a dance pageant inspired by the popular stories of ‘Matha Chandraghanta’ by the students of Bhavan's Vidya Mandir, Elamakkara. The vibrant program highlighted the exceptional talents of nearly 150 participants.
