Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Elamakkara, celebrated Van Mahotsav on 3rd July 2025 with a series of vibrant and meaningful activities aimed at fostering environmental awareness among students. The chief guest for the day was Sri Biju. K, Section Forest Officer, Ernakulam. In his address, he stressed the significance of trees in combating climate change and preserving biodiversity. He encouraged students to become active participants in protecting nature. One of the highlights of the programme was a soulful dance performance by the students based
on the Malayalam poem "Ini Varunna Thalamurak", which beautifully conveyed the message of hope and responsibility towards future generations. The performance left a lasting impact on the audience, stirring a deeper appreciation for the environment.
The event, held at 2:00 pm, also featured a ceremonial tree planting session, reflecting the school’s commitment to green practices. The theme “Plant a Tree, Secure Our Future” resonated throughout the campus as students pledged to be stewards of the earth.
Through this observance, the school once again reinforced its dedication to nurturing environmentally conscious citizens and safeguarding nature for the generations to come.
