Celebrations of Ramayana Week
The Ramayana Week celebrations at Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Elamakkara, commenced on Thursday, 17 July 2025 with great fervour and devotion. The event began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest, Shri. P. V. Krishnan Kuroor, a renowned orator and
retired Chief Proof Reader of Mathrubhumi. In his address to the students, he emphasized the timeless relevance of the Ramayana and the need to imbibe its values in modern times. His enlightening message set a spiritual tone for the week-long festivities.
The programme included a prayer by the School Choir followed by the ‘Ramayana Parayanam’ by Kumari Medha Savithri (XII C2) and ‘Vyakhyanam’ by Master Jathin Raghav M K (XII A2).The soulful Bhajan by the students of Sathyam & Sevanam House added a divine ambiance to the occasion, marking a graceful beginning to the Ramayana Week Celebrations 2025–2026.
The final day of the Ramayana Week Celebrations at Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Elamakkara,was held on 28 July 2025.The highlight of the day was the Dance Drama, Sreerama Pattabhishekam beautifully performed by the students of Bhavan’s Vidya Mandir, Elamakkara. The graceful movements and colourful costumes brought the essence of the Ramayana to life, leaving the audience spellbound.
The programme ended with this wonderful performance, bringing a joyful close to the week’s celebrations.
